Business Development Manager, Rest of EMEA (‘RoEMEA’). The region RoEMEA covers whole EMEA without Germany, Austria, Switzerland, UK, France, BeNeLux and Italy. As Business Development Manager for RoEMEA you are the key person in the EMEA Sales Organization. You are the link between the distributors, direct customers and the internal organization. Besides managing existing distributors and business you have a crucial role in intensifying the collaboration with the distributor network as well as hunting for new markets and opportunities, both in regions with and without existing distributors. Key themes here include: ·Execution of PI sales strategy (Market cultivation) and growth plans across distributors, representatives and direct channels; ·Build and sustain long term relations with distributors, representatives and key customers in the RoEMEA region; ·Define and implement sales forecasts, action plans and activities; ·Driving distributors in expanding their PI business, penetrating new markets and customers; ·Implement and maintain business reporting structure with distributors; ·Investigate and stay informed about market trends and competition landscape; ·Develop leads to opportunities and sales, in close cooperation with Inside Sales; ·Participate in local exhibitions, congresses and network meetings.
The candidate
As a Business Development Manager you are a strategic and investigative person and a full-fledged conversational and sparring partner for distributors, playing a facilitating role for colleagues and business customers. The focus is on delivering added value by improving the experience and results of both the internal teams and customers, leading to growth, success, and sustainable relationships. As a Business Development Manager you also have: ·A higher degree from a Technical, Scientific or Business school; ·Minimum of 7 years of relevant working experience in a technical commercial environment; ·Proven track record and demonstrable successes in business development, sales- and account management; ·Strong communicative skills, ability to understand technical applications and commercial stakeholders; ·Proactive mindset, result driven, working autonomously; ·Strong networking skills; ·Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly to various stakeholders; ·Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment. ·Excellent in English, German is a plus.
